Melissa Orlov

Called ‘one of the foremost experts on how ADHD impacts adult relationships in the world’ by Dr. Edward Hallowell, Melissa Orlov is the author of two award-winning books, The ADHD Effect on Marriage, and The Couple’s Guide to Thriving with ADHD (with Nancie Kohlenberger).  Melissa is a marriage consultant who helps couples from around the world improve their relationships affected by ADHD with her books, popular phone seminars, and counseling.  She has real-life experience with issues surrounding ADHD in relationships, which she uses to help bring the issues couples face to life in a way that motivates progress.

Orlov also teaches therapists to help couples impacted by ADHD and is a contributing author to The Distracted Couple, the first book on the topic specifically for therapists.   Her work has been featured in the New York Times and US News and World Report, on CNN, Today, and more.

Orlov is a graduate of Harvard College cum laude.  Her hobbies include road biking, singing, and learning the cello.  She and her husband live outside Boston.
