Children and ADHD – CHADD NYC Presentation by Howard Abikoff, PhD

 

Dr. Abikoff focuses on two ADHD topics during his presentation. The first pertains to ADHD in young preschool children. He covers what ADHD symptoms look like in this age group and the assessment methods and treatment approaches used with preschoolers. The second part focuses on the organizational, time management and planning (OTMP) difficulties that many children with ADHD experience. His discussion covers the assessment and treatment of children’s OTMP skills deficits.
